Loxhore church is situated to the north of the village. It is a Grade II* listed building over 700 years old. Little remains of the original church – just the bases of pillars in the nave and piscina in the south wall of the chancel.
The church is small, with seating for 65 people, consisting nave, chancel, north aisle and tower with a peal of six bells.
The church is dedicated to St Michael and all Angels.
