Despite no church service being planned for the Jubilee weekend, the church was decorated to commemorate the occasion.
On the Millennium Green events included childrens' games, bouncy cstles,the unveiling of a memorial to the late Arthur Ridd-Jones, official opening of Phase I of the play area refurbishment, and complementary Cream Teas from Churches Together.

A service at the Methodist Chapel was followed by a community gathering, with a duck race. cake competition and crown making.
STOKE RIVERS
"More Tea Vicar?" Afternoon tea at Stoke Rivers Village Hall.
Jubilee Lunch in Shirwell with Jubilee Pudding and the Church & Community Choir singing: 'Rise Up and Serve'.
Sunday Service in the Village Hall, led by Churches Together in Bratton Fleming. Poor weather meant that the service could not take place on the Millennium Green.
