Loxhore

 (St Michael and All Angels)

The church is situated to the north of the village and is dedicated to St Michael and all Angels. it is a Grade II* listed building over 700 years old. Little remains of the original church – just the bases of pillars in the nave and piscina in the south wall of the chancel.

The church is small, with seating for 65 people, consisting nave, chancel, north aisle and tower with a peal of six bells.

Whilst there is no formal ecumenical partnership, United Carol Services are held alternatively in the Parish and Methodist Churches. The two congregations come together on Remembrance Sunday, and attend each other’s Harvest Festivals.
