Each year a newly born lamb is brought into church as we give thanks to God for another 'lambing harvest'. In an area where sheep farming plays an important role, it is appropriate that thanks are given for the birth of the lambs inthe parish.
Church Family BBQ July 2017
Every year the Church Family comes together for an enjoyable afternoon. The event is usually held outdoors, but this year the weather forced everyone inside, except those responsible for the cooking! Despite cooking conditions being far from perfect there was not a burnt sausage to be seen.
The weather brightened in the afternoon, allowing everyone to go on a tractor and trailer ride around the farm, and feed some of the sheep.

A Snowy Messy Church Cafe 18 March 2018
Instead of cancelling the Messy Church Cafe after receiving about 20cm snow it was decided to continue but instead of providing activities in the church, to let the children enjoy themselves outside.
Their parents preferred to gather in the Wesley Suite to chat and enjoy cups of hot chocolate and cake.
After time in the snow the children came inside to decorate biscuits and have some refreshments while their gloves and hats dried on the church heaters.

Carols by Candlelight 2018
On the Saturday before Christmas the church was packed as people gather to sing their favourite carols in the church lit entirely by candles and lights on the Christmas trees.
Following the Christmas Tree Festival, instead of removing them, the trees are repositioned around the parimeter of the church where they remain until Epiphany.
The trees provide the ideal backdrop in which to celebrate Christmas.
